VICTORIA VIVIANS
Guard, Indiana Fever

“My life and career revolves around the youth. Hearing the ways I can use my platform to help the Brogdon Family Foundation improve the health and education of youth here in the USA and in East Africa inspired me to do more.

Vivians is a multi-dimensional 6-1 guard who guided Mississippi State to national championship games in 2017 and 2018…besides her 3-point shooting on offense, she emerged as a defensive stopper while playing multiple positions during her rookie campaign and started the Fever’s last 26 games of 2018…the No. 3 rookie scorer in Fever history, her 107 rebounds were the second most by any Fever rookie…her 27 points against Atlanta, 7/1, both were the most by any Fever rookie except Tamika Catchings.

She came from a defense-oriented college program in which she emerged as a scorer, a deadly shooter, and a big-game player, leading the Bulldogs to 32 consecutive wins to begin the 2017-18 season…voted the country’s top shooting guard in 2018, she provides the Fever with size, strength and maturity in the backcourt…she has the size to play a small forward position, averaging over five rebounds per game as a college star…she averaged double-figure scoring in each of four college seasons, including 19.8 points per game as a senior, and shot 40 percent from 3-point range in her final campaign.
